Cancer is a work for a large group of different diseases. Cancer develops from the uncontrolled growth of cells, and is caused by the specific types of mutations in DNA that activate genes that push cell division, and inhibit natural anti-cancer mechanisms. The cells divide and grow uncontrollably, forms malignant tumours, and invade nearby parts of the body. A common theory is that tumours are a hierarchical society, in which all cancer cells descend from special self-renewing cancer stem cells. Few findings say that those tumours are derived from cancer stem cells. The cancer stem cells are considered as root of tumour and it is rare in human body. New approaches are being developed to improve cancer therapy and reduce harmful side effects by finding out the roots of these cancers.
